|The Red Bank Register|
A Digitization Project
|The Red Bank Register is captured on microfilm
covering 1878 to 1964 as the Red Bank Register and 1964 to 1991 as the
Daily Register. The Digitization Project is a collaborative effort
between Middletown Township Public Library and the Red Bank Public
Library. Because of the size of the collection, the digitization of all
the microfilm has been broken down into more than one phase. The first
phase covered the period of June 27, 1878, to October 23, 1947.
Now the second phase, bringing the project through November 13, 1991 has been
completed as well. The full span is now presented on this site.
In addition to preserving the archives of the Red Bank Register, this project has enabled us to offer this valuable source of historical information with full-text keyword searching and date access capabilities.
Persons who would like to help continue this important historical project may send tax-deductible donations to either Middletown Township Public Library, 55 New Monmouth Road, Middletown, NJ 07748, or Red Bank Public Library, 84 West Front Street, Red Bank, NJ 07701. We appreciate your support!
